GM (this is our old company name) was born back in 1967 as a rotisserie factory, from the idea and the brilliance of Mauro Galanti, a man with a very active and lively mind, thus gifted with much inventiveness and imagination.

His passion for craftsmanship and DIY pushed him to bring that old object back to life. So, he decided to take inspiration from that model to build a new rotisserie, to which he applied the still-functioning motor of an old record player that was now unusable.
From then on, the constant coming and going of the whole neighbourhood to ask to borrow that "new appliance" made him realize that building others would open the door to a new market. That's how he came up with the idea of opening a small production factory in the basement below his house.

In January 1998, when he was only 23 years old, Alessandro Lupi (the son of a cousin of Mauro Galanti) thanks to the moral (but especially financial!) support of his parents, took over the business of "Uncle Mauro”. Thus, GM di Galanti Mauro became Giemme di Lupi Alessandro, and the factory was moved to larger premises, where it remained until the winter of 2004.
In the spring of 2005, given the need to further expand the production, a new change of location takes place: a new production unit about 10 km away from the previous one is purchased.
In 2013, the small individual company Giemme di Lupi Alessandro turns into Giemme S.r.l.

In November 2017, Giemme S.r.l. purchases an additional production unit in the main industrial area of the city of Spoleto, and the entire company moves to the new site starting from spring 2018.
Nowadays Giemme S.r.l. (that everyone knows as "Giemme Spoleto") can count on a covered production area of about 1,600 m² as well as on a latest generation, technologically advanced machinery park.
Today Giemme Spoleto has become a leader in the design, distribution and sale of rotisserie, pizza peels and accessories for fireplaces, ovens and barbecues. The company produces at industrial levels, whilst guaranteeing the quality that only a craft company can offer.
Giemme Spoleto products are now available at all major distributors of Ho.Re.Ca. equipments, as well as online and on the best e-commerce platforms.
Despite the fact that more than 50 years have passed, the company's staff continues to strive every day to design and manufacture products that are always new and performing in order to fully meet their customers' expectations.
